Me and you need to get together, so I can give you some tips on group portraits.
As for the shots, your white balance is in-consistent across the shots. #1 is to cool, #2 is too hot, #3 is pretty good. Are you using automatic white balance? Auto white balance is the quickest way to ruine a shot, since you never know what the camera may throw at you. If you can't custom white balance against a gray card for every light situation, at least use the "Sunny", "Cloudy", "Flash", or whatever the appropriate setting for the light. Auto white balance is for snapshots.
#3 is the best shot of the bunch. The only thing I would do different is I would have shot it from a bit lower angle. Since your lens is opened for such a wide angle, I prefer not to be shooting "down". If you would have shot from the waist level, the shot would not look so distorted. Some guys here shoot real estate pictures, and they would be better in telling you how to get this particular shot just right.
